Among the green hills surrounding Majano and the historicity of the area’s medieval relics is Snaidero’s headquarters: a design temple for design designed by architect Angelo Mangiarotti.
78 years of enterprise
The entrepreneurial spirit and far-sighted vision of Rino Snaidero led to the establishment of the Laboratorio Snaidero workshop: where everything came to life.
Snaidero grew from a small workshop into a leading company in the Italian industrial fabric: the new production plant was inaugurated in 1967.
In Italy, in Friuli, in Majano. Snaidero has kept to its roots.In 1978, the iconic Snaidero building designed by architect Angelo Mangiarotti was opened.
Snaidero discovered its international identity. France, Spain, Switzerland and Belgium were the first markets the brand broached. Snaidero then expanded into Canada and the United States.
The last decade of the last century brings Snaidero to experiment with new innovative solutions that meet the needs of modern consumers. In these years the collaboration with Pininfarina comes to life.
Snaidero leaves its indelible mark on Made in Italy design. In the first two decades of the 2000s, it obtained with its products 10 Good Design Awards, 1 German Design Award, 1 American Building Award and 1 Trophee du Sadecc.
Snaidero is implementing an ambitious plan for growth and innovation. It is now the leading Italian company for exports in the kitchen sector, with more than 500 stores on 5 continents it marks the history of Design every day.
